Welcome to the Department of Health Science. We have outstanding faculty, excellent facilities, and a tremendous legacy in preparing public health educators. We’re the ONLY institution in the country that has an undergraduate community/public health education program approved as well as an MPH accredited by the Council for Education in Public Health (CEPH).
This website is used for a variety of reasons– one, to recruit potential students; two, to provide a resource for our current students.
We also invite current and past students to Follow @NMSUMPH on Twitter
or visit us on Facebook. It’s a great way to keep up to date with what’s happening with the program.
If you should ever have a question, please feel free to stop by. I have an open door policy. I’m in CHSS 102 (that’s the Memorial Tower building).
Mark J. Kittleson, PhD, FAAHB, FAAHE
Academic Head, Health Science
