Position Responsibilities: Duties: teach Healthcare Finance, Healthcare Management, Administration, and Policy at the undergraduate and graduate levels. May teach courses in face-to-face and distance formats; actively pursue external support for research from national sources such as the CDC, National Institutes of Health, or similar agencies; commitment to establishing and/or building an externally funded research program; publish in refereed journals and be involved in research/community outreach projects along the U.S.- Mexico border and our local communities; recruit and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research; contribute to academic mission of the Department of Public Health Sciences and College of Health & Social Services; serve on departmental, college and university committees; and be involved in professional organizations in field of expertise.
Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Health Management, Administration, and Policy; Public Health; or a closely related field, evidence of ability to publish in peer reviewed journals; evidence of ability to teach health care management courses.
