Biography: Cindy Kratzke, Ph.D., CHES, Associate Professor, joined the Department of Public Health Sciences in 2009. She brings over 15 years of leadership in healthcare management and public health education. Her collaborative research areas are cancer prevention and control including minority community health workers and mammography use, mobile technology use, and mother-daughter communication. She involves her students in creative projects, scholarly activities, and research experiences with support and guidance. Her professional work includes serving as a state Executive Committee member with the New Mexico Cancer Council, treasurer with Board of Directors of the National Cancer Patient Education Network (CPEN), and co-leader for Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) Worksite Wellness Community of Practice.
