Teams from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and NMSU participated in a weeklong training on Enhancing Connections, a cancer education program for mothers diagnosed with cancer. Drs. Fran Lewis (FHCRC) and Dr. Rebecca Palacios (NMSU), pictured on the left, are Co-PIs on a U54 NMSU-FHCRC Pilot Project that will adapt the Enhancing Connections program to serve Hispanic mothers diagnosed with cancer in our border region.
