Thank you for your interest in the NMSU Public Health Sciences’ Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Equity Sciences (HES) program! This doctoral program will provide graduates with comprehensive research training to prepare them for positions of leadership in state, federal, and global governmental and non-governmental agencies, public health and social justice organizations, health care provider organizations, and institutions of higher learning. Students will develop the skills and experience necessary to address growing and complex problems that underlie health and healthcare inequities, as well as emerging health threats.
