On September 8th and 9th, the Department of Public Health Sciences and College of Health and Social Services co-sponsored two events intended to increase awareness of the need and movement to consider the potential health impacts of all governmental policies. Events included a keynote address on September 8 and a day-long workshop for county and city employees on September 9. Primary event organizers were Jamie Michael from the Doña Ana County Department of Health and Human Services and Joe Tomaka from the Department of Public Health Sciences. Both board members for the Doña Ana County Wellness Institute. Dean Donna Wagner provided closing remarks for the keynote address.
