Jagdish Khubchandani
MBBS, Ph.D., MPH
Jagdish Khubchandani serves as Professor of Public Health and Online Program Coordinator at New Mexico State University. His research interests are in the areas of global health, social epidemiology, and injury and violence prevention. Within the past decade, he has coauthored more than 100 research articles in prominent medical and public health journals. His work has been funded by agencies such as the National Science Foundation, Office of Women’s Health/DHHS, and NM Higher Education Department.
Khubchandani has served as an ad-hoc reviewer, committee member, or consultant for government agencies such as the NIH, CDC, SAMHSA, FDA, and EPA. He is also involved in the scientific publishing field as a reviewer, editorial advisor, and editor for several journals. He has served as an elected Director and currently serves as the Secretary for the World Association of Medical Editors. More recently, Khubchandani and his works have been quoted by media outlets such as CNN, NY Times, Huffington Post, Fox News, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, among several others.
