Dr. Jagdish Khubchandani is a Professor of Public Health at New Mexico State University, USA. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Medicine from India, Master’s in Public Health from Western Kentucky University, USA; and PhD in Health Education and Epidemiology from University of Toledo, USA. Within the past decade, he has mentored and taught over 500 students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in the field of public health, nursing, or medicine. During this time, he has also, coauthored more than 150 research articles in prestigious journals such as the Lancet, Journal of American Medical Association, and the New England Journal of Medicine with emphasis on global health, social epidemiology, and injury and violence prevention. More recently, his research has received widespread attention from prominent media outlets such as Fox News, MSN, Bloomberg News, Chicago Tribune, WSJ, and Huffington Post. Dr. Khubchandani has also served as an elected Director of the World Association of Medical Editors.
