Dr. Elizabeth England-Kennedy

Biography

Dr. England-Kennedy received her doctoral degree in Medical Anthropology from the University of Arizona and her Master’s Degree in Public Health from New Mexico State University. Before returning to NMSU, she served as Assistant Professor at Rhode Island College for four academic years, and as Major Coordinator for the Community and Public Health Promotion major for one. Her professional specialties include the intersections of health and culture, health equity, social and environmental justice, behavioral health, suicide and suicidality, and homelessness.
