Dr. Rahman's research interests include Environmental and Occupational Health, Cancer, and Chronic and Infectious Diseases. In particular, metal exposure and health effects on human health from environmental or occupational exposure. She completed her MPH from the University of Minnesota and worked with Florida Health Department before she moved to New Mexico. Dr. Rahman is a physician trained in disease diagnosis, treatment, and management. She also has wet lab expertise from the University of Minnesota, USA, the University of South Florida, USA, and Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan. Dr. Rahman has presented at National and International level conferences on metal and disease association in humans. She has published articles in prestigious journals ( i.e., Springer Nature, Elsevier).
